聲音 | 法律專家：香港Gatecoin等交易所的投資者追回加密資產的前景黯淡:據南華早報報道，Gatecoin交易所上月被勒令停業，結束長達六年的動蕩業務，包括2016年5月被黑客盜竊損失的2140萬美元客戶資產，并被香港9家銀行關閉賬戶。法律專家們表示，鑒于交易所存儲的加密貨幣的性質，加上虛擬資產交易仍未受到監管，受害的投資者（香港居民占Gatecoin客戶的40%）將面臨漫長而具有挑戰性的清算過程，在恢復加密資產方面的前景黯淡。 普華永道中國和香港區重組和破產團隊合伙人Peter Greaves稱，多數加密貨幣交易所將客戶資產保存在自己的數字簽名下，數字簽名將交易所識別為加密貨幣資產所有者，而不是客戶。這意味著根據定義，所有加密貨幣資產是混合的，或不是分離的。即使資產存儲在冷錢包，交易所代表客戶持有這些代幣，一旦以交易所的名義在區塊鏈注冊，在清算情況下這些資產屬于交易所。
